Moinks[1] are animals found while aboard trains in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. They appear in the first third of the game in the Forest Realm, and are the only rail enemy encountered before using the Spirit Train. They resemble large pigs with cow-like fur patterns, and tend to make cow-like noises. They can be found in herds, grazing, with one on the Spirit Tracks. If Link runs into it or shoots it with the cannon, it becomes an aggressive enemy, turning red and charging the train. To get by them safely, Link needs to scare them off the tracks by blowing the train's whistle.
