Mounted Miniblins[1] are a combination of an Armos ridden by a Miniblin in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, first appearing in the second visit to the Tower of Spirits. They notably appear before normal Miniblins, and are the only living Armos in the game. They slowly hop after Link, occasionally extending the ring of spikes underneath to attack. Attacking the Armos directly with Link's inventory at the time will be ineffective; instead, Link must climb onto Phantom Zelda's shield to attack the Miniblin on its own level. Once the Miniblin is defeated, the Armos will blink red and harmlessly explode.
The concept of riding Armos was later heavily used in The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes with the Totem Armos, which may have been inspired by the Mounted Miniblin.
