Dolls[1] (or 1-Ups[2]) are items that give Link a life in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. They are dolls made to resemble Link, and they have the same sprite of Link facing south on the overworld.

Six Dolls appear in the overworld. After Link obtains a Doll, another does not appear in its place, even after Link loses a life. If Link uses the Shield Spell, which changes his tunic to red, the Dolls also change color accordingly, due to the Nintendo Entertainment System's color limitations.
