Bagu is a character in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. He is an inhabitant of the Water Town of Saria who also has a house in the forest to the north. When Link arrives to the town, the River Man does not allow him to cross the bridge due to him not living there, though Bagu can help him get across. Unfortunately, he is not in his town house, and it is only being lived in by a sleeping Bot. If Link speaks to the Bot repeatedly, it wakes and tells him of Bagu's other house hidden in the forest. When Link finds it and talks to Bagu, Bagu gives him a note to show the River Man, who henceforth lets him cross.

Bagu also appears in a story of Nintendo Comics System, that being Thief in the Night, where he is blackmailed by Ganon into stealing the Triforce of Wisdom at the expense of his pet frogs. However, Link catches and defeats him with the Handy Glove. After Bagu tells him his story, Link loans the glove to him to take on Ganon and save his pets, at which he succeeds.
