Helmet ChuChus[1] are a type of red ChuChu found in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks wearing an impenetrable spiked helmet. They initially appear in the Ocean Temple, where they follow Link, occasionally leaping at him. Their helmets can be removed with the whip, causing them to become normal red ChuChus. Unlike most red ChuChus, however, these ones will quickly flee from Link once exposed. They can be defeated just like normal red Chuchus afterwards, with the quickest way being to snap the helmet back at them, destroying both. The helmets can also be used to destroy the tough Blue ChuChus.
