Māgo are robed hag enemies in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, appearing solely in the Palace on the Sea. They act similar to the Wizards found in certain other palaces in that they teleport around casting spells at Link. Unlike the Wizards, however, Māgo spawn fireballs that travel a short distance along the ground and cannot be blocked even with the Reflect magic. On the other hand, they can be defeated with Magical Sword strikes, though they take a large amount of damage and warp in and out at such a quick rate that hitting them multiple times in one go can be challenging.
