- In the Japanese version of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, when Link obtains the Magic Hammer, it is described as the 「Ｍ、Ｃハンマー」 (M,C Hanmā, M,C Hammer), which is directly named after the American rapper MC Hammer.[2] This was slightly modified to 「Ｍ.Ｃハンマー」 (M.C Hanmā, M.C Hammer) in the GBA version.[3]
