Ropas, formerly known as Worm Baskets,[1] are hopping, green, terrestrial sea anemone enemies that appear in a few The Legend of Zelda games.

History[edit]

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to Past[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: A Link to Past, Worm Baskets are a common overworld enemy in the Dark World. Due to being on the Pyramid of Power, they are likely to be the first Dark World-exclusive enemy Link encounters. Despite their small size, their stings deal a large amount of damage, though their movements are slow and imprecise and they have low durability.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures, Worm Baskets are common dungeon enemies, appearing in the Cave of No Return, the Temple of Darkness, and the Pyramid. Like other small enemies, they sometimes appear in enormous groups. Worm Baskets in this game are offensively weak and often squirt water upwards. They move quicker than before with shorter jumps, but they are still erratic.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Ropas appear in Lorule with their original role and range.
