Arurodas[1] are one-eyed giant scorpions from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. They scuttle towards Link with their eyes closed, occasionally shooting a fireball from their tails. Every so often, they will open their eyes to look at Link for a moment, which is his chance to damage them. When their eyes are closed, they are invincible. They start appearing in caves occasionally midway through the game, and also appear in the desert surrounding Three-Eye Rock.
