Anti-Kirby (plural form: Anti-Kirbies[1]) is an enemy in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and its Game Boy Color port, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX. They are directly inspired by Kirby from the Kirby series, and have the same appearance as him. Anti-Kirbies are purported to be the evil twins of Kirby,[1] though their Japanese name seemingly identifies them as the character himself, despite there being more than one in the game. Anti-Kirbies have the same inhalation ability as Kirby.

Anti-Kirbies only appear on the first floor of Eagle's Tower, where they jump around the room in random directions. If an Anti-Kirby notices Link, it tries to inhale him into its mouth. If an Anti-Kirby successfully inhales Link, it spits him out a few seconds later, causing Link to lose a Heart. Anti-Kirbies are invulnerable to some of Link's attacks, including his Sword. Anti-Kirbies must take a few hits in order to be defeated. Link can defeat an Anti-Kirby by either striking it with the Magic Rod twice, by throwing two Bombs that explode on it, or by hitting it with the Boomerang four times.
