A Flame Fountain[1], also called a flame thrower[2], is an object which appears in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. A single Flame Fountain appears in the game, in a cave in Tal Tal Mountain Range leading to Turtle Rock. It is a cannon which is attached to a wall. It continuously fires fire in front of it. In the Game Boy and Game Boy Color versions of the game, the cannon bobs when it fires, alternating between blue and red in the latter, and in the Nintendo Switch remake it is stationary. Using the Mirror Shield deflects its flames.
