Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a video game for the Nintendo Switch, released worldwide on November 20, 2020. It was developed by Omega Force and published by Koei Tecmo in Japan and Nintendo in other regions. It is an indirect follow-up to the Wii U title, Hyrule Warriors, and despite its name, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity bears little relation aside from gameplay. It is actually a prequel to a main The Legend of Zelda series title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and takes 100 years before its events.
The game stars Link and Princess Zelda, who team up with various heroes from around Hyrule such as Mipha, Daruk, Revali, and Urbosa to fend off forces led by Calamity Ganon, who is attempting to revive himself and destroy Hyrule.
