Tincle no Balloon Fight DS is the second installment of the Tingle series. It is a remake of Balloon Fight but with Tingle as the main character. The game was both developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS, and was exclusively released in Japan on April 12, 2007. The game was only made available to Platinum Club Nintendo members,[1] who at the time had a choice between either Tincle no Balloon Fight DS or a custom Wii Remote battery cover of their Mii.[2]
The game uses a modified engine based on the original Balloon Fight, and has improved auto lift and gentler movement. The game has three modes: 1 Player Game, 2-4 Player Game (local wireless), and Balloon Trip. There are twenty unlockable gallery photos of Tingle that can each be unlocked by meeting certain objectives, especially by clearing different phases, both in single player and multiplayer. The gallery is viewable from the options menu.
