Pincers are centipede-like enemies first found in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. They live in holes, which, when approached, will have the Pincer's eyes open visibly from inside. After this, the Pincer will lunge out towards Link. In The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, the holes will sometimes be covered with leaves in the fall (notably near Eyeglass Lake). In this case, the eyes will appear over the leaves, with the leaves being knocked away when it emerges.
