Appearances
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
In The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, the Roc's Feather is located in the Tail Cave. In sidescrolling areas, Link must use the Roc's Feather to get across to the other side. He can also jump on Goombas to defeat them like Mario from the Super Mario series. With the Roc's Feather, Link can also jump at winged items to collect them.
In Tail Cave, Link is required to equip the Roc's Feather for when he battles both Spike Roller and the Moldorm boss. This way, Link can jump over the rollin pin and Moldorm during the respective boss fights.
In The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, the Roc's Feather has a blue sprite. In the Nintendo Switch remake, it is an orange-red color.
