- – Floodgate Keeper, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
The Floodgate Keeper is a minor character in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, living in a house at Spool Swamp. When Link first meets him, he confesses he lost the Floodgate Key. The key can be recovered by activating a lever in the house, draining the water from a small pit in the house and revealing the key at the bottom. He then tells Link he can find the lock by going through a puddle outside, which the same lever drained into a tunnel. If Link speaks to him after opening the floodgates, he tells him that the vines in the swamp grow a lot in summer, hinting how to reach Poison Moth's Lair. Due to an error, however, he also says some of Impa's introductory lines, which are stored right after his lines in the game's data.[1] The linked game reveals he is friends with Mamamu Yan's mother and originally came from Labrynna.
