- – Painter, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
The painter is a minor character in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. He is an old man that can always be found painting by the fountain in Horon Village. Early in the game, he gives Link hints about where to go next, specifically the Hero's Cave, Gnarled Root Dungeon, and Snake's Remains in the Woods of Winter. He admits to enjoying painting the different seasons' scenery, but also feels he is too old to paint in more varied locations. Midway through the game, he talks about the evil magic preventing access to the Northern Peak and the Maku Tree's sudden growth. At the end of an unlinked game, he says the seasons returning to normal is a gift from the Maku Tree, and in a linked game, he worries about Princess Zelda's safety.
