First appearance | The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages (2001) |
Variant of | Podoboo |
Podoboo Towers are a tall variation of Podoboos. Like their normal counterparts, they are found around lava, but rather than leap from it, they extend outwards from it or nearby ground and shoot about three fireballs at Link before ducking back down and temporarily disappearing. Unlike normal Podoboos, they can be damaged and defeated with sword attacks.
History[edit]
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons[edit]
In The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, Podoboo Towers appear in Subrosia, where they can be dug up with the shovel. They sometimes appear automatically on the field, usually around Lava Lake.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages[edit]
In The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, Podoboo Towers appear only in the ruined Symmetry Village. Once the Tuni Nut is restored and returned in the past, the village remains intact in the present and thus the Podoboo Towers henceforth disappear.
