- “I can give shape to powerful secrets that I remember. Do you know the secret to moving through time?”
- – Farore, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages
Farore, Oracle of Secrets is an optional supporting character in a few games, having less importance than fellow oracles Din and Nayru. Her name comes from the goddess associated with the Triforce of Courage.
History[edit]
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages[edit]
In both The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages, Farore appears inside the respective game's Maku Tree (the male one in Oracle of Seasons and the female one in Oracle of Ages) and functions as a method of bringing bonuses from linking secrets in the first game played back to the second game by giving her the proper secret code. She also has a book, Farore's Memory, which lists all discovered secrets in the respective game.
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap[edit]
In The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Farore is a minor character along with Din and Nayru. All three of them want to move in to Hyrule Town, but since Gorman only ends up selling two houses, only two of the three can end up with a home there. If Link offers Farore one of the houses, she will provide him an attack- and defense-boosting charm when he asks.

Trivia[edit]
- Early plans had Farore be the Oracle of Ages in the canceled The Legend of Zelda: Mystical Seed of Courage; at that stage, Nayru was instead the "Oracle of Color" and was associated with a paintbrush rather than the Harp of Ages.
