Amy, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons

Amy is the youngest member of the Poe Sisters. She is named after Amy Curtis March from the novel Little Women.

History[edit]

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Amy is green-clothed and is the third Poe sister encountered in the Forest Temple. Unlike Beth and Joelle, making her appear requires not only shooting a portrait of her with an arrow, but solving a timed puzzle with pushing four blocks together to show her image, with an extra piece showing Beth added to confuse the player. Once the puzzle is solved, Amy appears. Like Beth and Joelle, Amy attacks by twirling invulnerably at Link and occasionally turning invisible and intangible, which reverts after a while and can be forced to early with a Deku Nut. After being damaged enough, Amy is defeated and the green flame is restored to its torch in the main room.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Amy is the first of the Poe Sisters fought in the Ghost Hut in Ikana Canyon. She acts exactly the same as in Ocarina of Time, albeit without the puzzle segment.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, Amy wields a sword and is encountered early in the Explorer's Crypt. She has cursed an early room in the dungeon, causing the lights to slowly go out and warp Link back to the dungeon's entrance when it reaches full darkness. To break the curse, Link needs to use the slingshot to light two torches near her tombstone, found in a room adjacent to the one she cursed. When the curse is lifted, she appears and attacks Link by teleporting around the room and charging with her sword. Upon defeat, she promises revenge. She and Margaret later challenge him together as the dungeon's miniboss. She uses the same tactics as before, but sometimes stops to blow out a torch. If all four torches are blown out, Link gets sent back to the entrance.
