(Mizuppo is referred to as both "common green Spume" and "inconvenient Spume" in SS's PRIMA guide on page 160, so the English name seems to be "Spume.") |

Toadpolis[1] are frog enemies from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, essentially taking Octoroks' role from previous free-camera games. They are able to inhabit magma or water, and both types first appear in Goron Mines. The red Fire Toadpolis[2] are found in the magma of the first room of the mine, where one stays in place and spits fireballs at Link. These will burn straight through the Ordon Shield or Wooden Shield, but can be deflected with the Hylian Shield or a sword slice, knocking it back into the creature and defeating it. The blue Water Toadpolis[1] are found later in the mine, in a room that previously contained red Tektites. These swim around, occasionally surfacing to spit a projectile at Link. These can be deflected the same way, but without the threat of burning. Water Toadpolis later appear in a Dig Cavern at Lake Hylia.
In the Lakebed Temple, a massive Toadpoli called the Deku Toad appears as the miniboss, with baby Toadpolis called Toados assisting it. However, normal Toadpolis do not appear in this temple.
