Armos Warrior, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages

The Armos Warrior is the miniboss of the Skull Dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, appearing as a giant armored swordsman resembling an Armos, hence its name. It wields a giant sword that flies around after Link on its own accord and a shield that is impenetrable to all of his attacks. At the beginning of the battle, the Armos Warrior throws its sword, which begins spinning after Link in straight lines, occasionally stopping for a few moments to change direction; touching the sword will damage Link regardless of whether it is moving or not. During this time, the Armos Warrior marches randomly about the room, occasionally attempting to walk into Link. To damage it, Link needs to lure the sword into hitting the Armos Warrior's shield, cracking it. After three hits, both the sword and shield are destroyed by each other, and the enraged Armos Warrior begins charging at Link in straight lines, only stopping after bouncing off walls. With the shield gone, it can be damaged with conventional methods, such as swords, bombs, or the Seed Shooter. After enough hits, the Armos Warrior is defeated.
