Tailpasarans are enemies found inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. They are made of a tough, fanged head resembling a small Leever and a delicate body made of electrical segments. They initially appear with their heads poking out of the floor, spinning, but will emerge and fly around erratically at Link if he approaches. If one hits him, it burrows fully into the floor and pokes its head out again soon after. Their tails are their weak point, but due to the electricity, they cannot be attacked safely with non-projectile weapons. Deku Nuts can stun them and render their tails harmless, even stopping them in midair, though they become immune to the sword while stunned. Additionally, they are immune to explosions and Deku Seeds. To defeat them safely, Link needs to use the Boomerang, a Spin Attack, or Ruto to hit the tails.
