- “You found the Silver Gauntlets! If you wore them, you would feel power in your arms, the power to lift big things with ! But, these gauntlets won't fit a kid... Plus, you promised to give them to Nabooru. You should keep your word...”
- – The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time description
The Silver Gauntlets are an item in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time that allows Link to push large blocks and lift large boulders. They are found outside the Spirit Temple after Link completes the child portion of the dungeon, though they can only be used by adult Link. Nabooru, who Link meets in the dungeon, asks Link to find them and bring them to her so she can steal the treasure Ganondorf had hid there. However, shortly after Link obtains the gauntlets, Nabooru is captured by Koume and Kotake.
The Silver Gauntlets allow Link to push the large, silver block near the entrance of the Spirit Temple, allowing him to progress through the dungeon as an adult. Later in the dungeon, the gauntlets can be used to push two more silver blocks to create a shortcut to the entrance. Outside the Spirit Temple, various silver boulders that can be lifted with the Silver Gauntlets appear throughout Hyrule, which may block paths or lead to grottos. One Gold Skulltula in Zora's Fountain requires the gauntlets to reach, as the path leading to it is blocked by a silver boulder.
The Silver Gauntlets are replaced by the Golden Gauntlets when the latter are obtained in Ganon's Castle.
In Hyrule Warriors, the Silver Gauntlets are the most basic Gauntlets that Link can equip. It is paired with the Ball and Chain from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princes.
