Baby Dodongos are enemies in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Like the fully-grown Dodongos, they appear in Dodongo's Cavern. They burrow out of the floor and pursue Link, and will burrow back under and disappear if they hit an obstruction. They jump at Link to attack, but if attacked themselves, they will immediately be defeated and violently explode with the same force as a bomb a few seconds later, which can be used to destroy bombable walls. If Link places a bomb near one, it will deliberately move to it and eat it, causing it to be defeated. They will also eat Bombchu launched at them. In the original game, they only appear in a single large room, but in Master Quest, they appear in a few rooms across the cavern and later appear in the Spirit Temple.
