- “You found the Golden Gauntlets! You can feel even more power coursing through your arms! Grab with and lift stuff up!”
- – The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time description
The Golden Gauntlets are an item in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time that allows adult Link to lift large pillars. They are found in the room containing the Shadow Barrier in Ganon's Castle, and once obtained, they replace the Silver Gauntlets. In the Master Quest, the Golden Gauntlets are instead found in the Spirit Barrier room of Ganon's Castle.
Three pillars appear in the game that can only be lifted by the Golden Gauntlets, all of which are in or around Ganon's Castle. One appears outside Ganon's Castle and blocks the entrance to a Great Fairy Fountain, one guards a Silver Rupee in the Fire Barrier room of Ganon's Castle, and one blocks the entrance to the castle's Light Barrier room.
In Hyrule Warriors, the Golden Gauntlets are one of the Gauntlets that Link can equip. It is paired with a golden, spiked version of the Ball and Chain, possibly based on a golden Ball and Chain Soldier.
