Stingers are spiked ray enemies in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. They can be found in aquatic areas, such as inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly and in the Water Temple. They have multiple different behaviors depending on their exact location. Some move upside-down under the floor so their namesake stinger is pointing up like a shark's dorsal fin, emerging fully and flying around like a Keese when approached or attacked with a Deku Nut. Others are found swimming underwater with a similar behavior to when they are flying, though these ones will not leave the water. Both types can be defeated with projectiles. Like with Keese, Deku Nuts cause them to temporarily crumple and quickly fall to the floor, even if they are underwater; unlike Keese, the Boomerang has the same effect.
