The Zora Tunic is a tunic that appears in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and its Nintendo 3DS remake, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. It is a blue tunic that gives Link the ability to breathe underwater. The Zora Tunic is the last of the three tunics that Link obtains. Like the Goron Tunic, Link can only wear the Zora Tunic as an adult.

Link can obtain the Zora Tunic by either buying it at the Zora Shop or from King Zora after Link unfreezes him from the red ice. At the shop, the Zora Tunic costs 300 rupees, and even though Link can purchase it, the shopkeeper mentions that only a rich family in Kakariko Village can afford the Zora Tunic. If Link already has the tunic and talks to King Zora, he offers to kiss Link, who declines.

The Zora Tunic is notable because Link must wear it to navigate the Water Temple. At times, Link must wear the Zora Tunic with the Iron Boots to walk deep underwater without drowning. If Link is wearing the Zora Tunic and a Like Like swallows and then spits out Link, it continues to swallow the Zora Tunic. Link can recover the tunic if he defeats the Like Like quickly enough, otherwise he can purchase another at the Zora Shop.

Prior to the game's events, the Zoras created several of these tunics for the Hylians, who could then breathe underwater because the Zora Tunics were made from fish gills.[1]

In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, the Zora Tunic was succeeded by a similar armor, the Zora Armor. Unlike the Zora Tunic, the Zora Armor also gives Link the ability to swim underwater.
