Inside the Deku Tree is the first dungeon of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. As the dungeon's name directly states, it takes place within the Great Deku Tree. The main item is the Fairy Slingshot.
Prior to the game's events, the Great Deku Tree was cursed by Ganondorf. In a test of courage, the Great Deku Tree asks Link to break the mysterious curse, and then the Great Deku Tree then opens its mouth, allowing Link to enter. Gohma is the boss of Inside the Deku Tree, and she is accompanied by Gohma Larvae during the battle. Even after Link completes the dungeon, the Great Deku Tree is killed by the curse, but he rewards the Kokiri's Emerald to Link before passing.
