Variant of Gimos

Fire Gimos are a burning version of the hopping Gimos gargoyles. Due to their flames, attacking them directly damages Link, but if extinguished they can be fought safely.

History[edit]

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Fire Gimos appear in Turtle Rock and the Treacherous Tower. Dormant Fire Gimos simply look like red-colored normal Gimos, but while active, they take on a lava-like texture. Their flames can be extinguished with the Tornado Rod and they can also be frozen with the Ice Rod. They can also be fought off normally, though Link is likely to sustain heavy damage in doing so.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, a single Fire Gimos appears alongside an Ice Gimos in the Fortified Zone of the Den of Trials, beginning to move right after spawning. It can be stunned and extinguished with the Gust Jar, with the Water Rod being unavailable for the fight.
