Keeleons are floating, bomb-spitting giant cliones that appear primarily in icy climates.

History[edit]

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Keeleons float over the narrow bridges and moving platforms in the deepest reaches of the Ice Ruins. They spit three consecutive green bombs around themselves to attack, which is sometimes used to trigger Crystal Switches. Due to their height, they can only be effectively attacked with bombs, the Ice Rod, or the Fire Rod.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Keeleons appear in the Riverside and Ice Cavern areas and can be attacked directly by reaching them with the Totem position or the Water Rod. Their bombs are now blue and they act more aggressive, deliberately following the Links and aiming the bombs at them rather than their more random pattern from before. A burning type called the Fire Keeleon appears at the Volcano, a disk-shaped boss Keeleon called Gigaleon appears at the Sky Realm, and a purple, curse-bearing "dark" type appears in the Den of Trials.
