History[edit]

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, dormant Gimos are common decorations in Lorulean dungeons, such as the Swamp Palace, Thieves' Hideout, and Lorule Castle, sometimes being used for puzzles. However, aside from their elemental variations, the only places enemy Gimos appear are the Hyrulean Desert Palace and in the Treacherous Tower. Functionally, they act as strong Armos, coming to life when Link draws near and hopping after him while facing the screen. Dormant Gimos are a solid gray, but active ones are beige with red eyes.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Gimos only appear on the fourth floor of the Den of Trials, in the Forest Zone. They act the same as before, but now face the Links as they follow them and are teal with yellow eyes while active.
