Arrgi are numerous spherical masses that cover Arrghus and its derivatives. They are generally used for protection, but can also be used offensively. To destroy them, they must first be removed from Arrghus, though they attempt to return when this is done.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past[edit]
In The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, 13 Arrgi cover Arrghus in the Swamp Palace, appearing as orange pulsating blobs with a pair of angry eyes. Arrghus attacks with them by spinning them around at an increasing radius before bringing them back to itself. They can be pulled off with the Hookshot, turning them turquoise and vulnerable, though they return to Arrghus as quickly as they can. In the Palace of the Four Sword in the Game Boy Advance version, they are replaced by green Baris.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask[edit]
In The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Arrgi appear as pink bubble-like spheres somewhat resembling fish or frog eggs. An enormous amount cover Wart during its battle, with some occasionally bouncing off to attack Link. By attacking them as they cover Wart, Link can knock off several at once to make them vulnerable to defeat. Once Wart's eye is successfully attacked, all remaining Arrgi fall off and begin bouncing around erratically, never returning to Wart.
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures[edit]
In The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures, 26 rock-based Arrgi surround Stone Arrghus and resemble smaller versions of the boss. In single-player mode, they are all brown, but in multiplayer, some are color-coded and must be beaten by a corresponding Link. Stone Arrghus uses them by spinning them rapidly while increasing their radius slightly and moving around the arena. Their eyes are normally closed, buy open when removed by the boomerang, signify them being vulnerable.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds[edit]
In The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, ten Arrghi protect Arrghus, appearing as eyeballs inside bubbles. Rather than covering Arrghus completely, it moves the group specifically to protect against whichever direction Link currently is from it. To attack, it launches them at Link one at a time, which is marked by the one-to-be-fired's bubble turning yellow, then orange. When removed with the Hookshot, the bubble pops, rendering them vulnerable.
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes[edit]
In The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Arrgi appear as red eyeballs with slit pupils in blue bubbles. Eight protect Arrghus in its first stage, slowly circling in the middle of a large pool as Arrghus waits underwater. They can be removed with the Gripshot, popping the bubble, though if they fall back into the pool they will swim in a spiral motion back to their original positions. Once all are defeated, the pool drains and the second stage starts, with Arrghus surrounding itself with a ring of eight more Arrgi. Like in A Link Between Worlds, these are launched one at a time at the Links, marked by the bubble becoming red. Due to their elevation, removing them requires either a lift from either the Totem position or the Water Rod or to wait for them to be launched to the ground.
During the battle against The Lady's Pet Arrghus, four Arrgi are used, with two being burning and two being frozen. When they are launched, they roll after the Links briefly and leave behind trails of fire and ice, respectively. To remove them, the Links can use the Gripshot again or use the Gust Jar to stun Arrghus, knocking them all to the ground. This can also be used to extinguish the fiery ones and render them vulnerable, though the icy ones can only be destroyed with Bomb Flowers or using the Gust Jar to push them into a pit. By stunning Arrghus with the Gust Jar, it is possible to defeat it without destroying all the Arrgi, causing them to become hearts.
