Ice Gimos are an ice sculpture version of the hopping Gimos gargoyles. While they can be destroyed with sufficient sword hits, their composition makes it so fire attacks melt them immediately.

History[edit]

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Ice Gimos appear on Lorule's Death Mountain and the Treacherous Tower on the same mountain. While dormant, they appear as white ice sculptures, but when active, they become a vibrant blue. They can be defeated in normal combat or by melting them with the Fire Rod, though the former usually gives higher Rupee rewards. A giant type called the Big Ice Gimos also appears, and nonliving versions of both types appear as roadblocks throughout the mountain, requiring the Fire Rod to get past.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Ice Gimos appear in the Frozen Zone and Fortified Zone of the Den of Trials, beginning to move right after spawning and always appearing white-tinted. They can again be beaten with the swords or alternatively melted with the Fire Gloves or pushed with the Gust Jar.
