History[edit]

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past[edit]

Rock Frogs first appear as Octoroks' Dark World counterpart in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. They act just like normal Octoroks in that they move around quickly and spit rocks, sometimes in different consecutive directions, but differ in that they are much stronger. They appear in many places, most heavily in the stony area between the Pyramid of Power and the Palace of Darkness, as well as around the Ice Lake.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Slaroks appear in Lorule in the corresponding locations to before, such as between Lorule Castle and the Dark Palace and near Turtle Rock. They act essentially the same as before.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes[edit]

In The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Slaroks are unique to the Den of Trials and have changed considerably in behavior. They can now run along the surface of water as though it were land and spit fiery projectiles.
