Pincers[1] are centipede-like Moldorm enemies which live in holes. Pincers first appear in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and have later appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, retaining their role from their debut appearance. Pincers are named directly for the pincers on their face. Their body is red and made up of circular segments.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening[edit]
In The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Pincers appear in Ukuku Prairie. If Link approaches a hole with a Pincer, its eyes open visibly from inside for a few seconds. After this, the Pincer lunges out toward Link, who can defeat it by striking it with his sword twice. Link can quickly dodge Pincers by jumping over them using the Roc's Feather. Link can use Magic Powder to freeze a Pincer temporarily.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons[edit]
